Throughout the year we will host a series of special dining road trips covering regions of Europe and collaborating with great producers and artisans form Australia and around thr world..

Each will follow a specific theme and tasting journey in the form of an extended tasting menu.


Sunday 27th August 2017
Local Food, Local Beer with La Sirène Brewery
and Pep Alliance

Collaborating once again with the talented Chief Artisan brewers Costa Nikias & Will MacDonald of La Sirène Brewing and the exciting Pep events, this event will be something special for the beer enthusiast.

Starting with an exclusive tour of the La Sirene Brewing in Alphington you will taste and talk brewing methods that are approached like no other brewery in Melbourne. You will then jump on a bus over to Copper Pot Seddon where chefs Ashley Davis and Sascha Rust will present a clever Sunday lunch inspired by the brews you’ve just sipped. 

Hilary McNevin of Pep Events will host the lunch and moderate a Q&A throughout the day.  Seats are limited, so get in quick.

Euro / Asian Crossover Roaming Dinner
with Luxsmith

After such great success last year we are teaming up with Luxsmith again to deliver a tasting adventure through Europe and Asia. But to bring a new twist, Copper Pot Seddon will be cooking Pan Asian while Luxsmith will be cooking European.

Starting at either restaurant, you will experience arrival drinks and snacks followed by an entrée with matched wines. Then as the night progresses you will experience main course and dessert with paired wines at the second restaurant.

With the chefs of each restaurant being well regarding in both cuisines this is set to be a special dining experience that highlights the great dining experience of Seddon.

Copper Pot Seddon have teamed up with Vanguardist Wines' vigneron Michael J Corbett for an exclusive event showcasing some stunning European inspired wines that push the boundaries, challenge the status quo of conventional wine making and receive high regard from the wine elite of Australia.

To match these stunning wines Executive Chef Ashley Davis and Head Chef Sascha Rust have designed an autumnal European road trip menu that will take guests on an flavour adventure not to be missed.

A Spring Road Trip Lunch at Bress Wine, Cider & Produce

Our Executive Chef Ashley Davis and Head Chef Sascha Rust head to Harcourt for our first travelling road trip, bringing the tastes of small villages and towns of Europe to Bress Wine, Cider & Produce.

This unique event will feature a 5-course road trip menu designed to highlight the bio-dynamic produce grown on the Bress property and stunning matched Bress wines and ciders. To add to the experience the Bress team will take diners on a tour of the sustainably farmed property.

With accolades such as James Halliday 5 red star rated winery, 2010 - 2017, Gourmet Traveller Wine Best Cellar Door Awards 2013-2016 and a regular appearance in The Age Good Food Guide, Bress delivers a platform for a truly fantastic day out.

Our Executive Chef Ashley Davis, Head Chef Sascha Rust and Corrina Wright, Chief Wine Maker of Oliver's Taranga Vineyard are collaborating to host a special tasting road trip inspired by the flavours of Autumn.

The 5-course road trip will take a journey through classic and unique Autumnal European dishes prepared with local seasonal produce including a succulent lamb reared at the winery. Each dish will be paired with specially selected European and Australian style wines from historic Oliver's Taranga Vineyards.

This unique experience will run one night only and is limited to 60 places.

A Road Trip Through Gascony With Kate Hill

Our Executive Chef Ashley Davis, Head Chef Sascha Rust and famed butchery, charcuterie and cassoulet queen of Gascony, Kate Hill will collaborate to deliver a special tasting road trip through Gascony, France.

In Melbourne on a road trip of her own to host cooking and writing workshops, Kate Hill will join our chefs to source fresh produce and create a special 7-dish, 5-course road trip with paired French and Australian wines, inspired by the trio's experiences and recipes of the Gascony region.

The road trip will cover a series of regional dishes including charcuterie by Salt Kitchen, Ballarat and rare breed pork from Jonai Farms, Eganstown, all leading to the pinnacle, a Gascony style cassoulet by Kate Hill.

This unique experience will run one night only and is limited to 60 places.
